Wars between import pesticides and domestic pesticides are still underway. The imported pesticides developed by MNCs in possession of advantages like new active ingredients and advanced formulation production technology show excellent efficiency for pests and disease control with substantial market expansion awaited.
However, it doesn’t mean domestic pesticide producers have no competitiveness at all. In fact, local producers who have their own advantages such as fine sales network and favorable quotations have also captured considerable market share, among which biological pesticides show some bright performance recently, with several big production lines being undertaken.
Industrial upgrade seems having been penetrated every corner of agricultural field, not merely in agrochemical industry, but also in other related industries like seed production and agricultural product distribution.
